For ALBERTINA, Franz Wassermann appropriates the logo of the Viennese museum Albertina and uses its power for his own exhibition. The artist pastes transparent tape over an exhibition poster which is presented at an advertisement pillar in the public space of Vienna. In the following, he removes the transparent tape on which the word ALBERTINA is stuck. Wassermann transfers this ACTION CARRIER to his own solo show where he pastes the word ALBERTINA over the original gallery name area 53. photos: Markus Wassermann |
